The University regularly reviews and restructures its Schools and Services and when this happens UNISON are always involved. The University encourages us to participate, as it recognises the value of our input into the consultation process and our ability to help and support individual members through periods of change.
Our members are reassured by our involvement and are often able to tell us their concerns, rather than raise them with their Line Managers. We can then raise these issues anonymously on behalf of all of our members and try to seek some resolution.
